I finally bust my cherry ... on YouTube!

Last night was my first reading ever. What'd you think I was talking about? Hmm ... nasty. I gave my camera to Nathan James and he filmed my ten minute reading. My only regret is I didn't film the entire event. More details and pics after the jump ...

Yeah. After all my years of writing and being published in cyberspace and in print, last night was the first time I got off the pot and actually did a reading. Felt good. Extremely good. As you know, Breeding Season was included in Best Gay Erotica 2008. Last night, along with Emanuel Xavier (pic left), Lee Houck, Tom Cardamone, Sam J. Miller (pictured below), Andrew McCarthy and Charlie Vasquez, I had the pleasure of busting my public reading cherry at Rapture Café in NYC. I was nervous as hell, or course, but I'd practiced my reading at home in front of my dogs and they'd responded with typical canine enthusiasm so I was good to go. After all, if my work is good enough for Mickey, Gizmo and Taco, it's good enough for the world. Breeding Season tells the tale of two high-school boys as they navigate the complexities of nature, and the need of creatures great and small to breed. It's a great story, but only one of many cool-ass tales each personally selected by award-winning writer, Emanuel Xavier. I'm just proud to be in their company. Now that I've bust my cherry, like every virgin, now I'm eager to be plowed. Stay tuned for more readings, coming very, very soon ....
