Evan Ross, baby of the Ross klan and who recently starred in the powerful Gardens of the Night as a former child prostitute, was sighted doing some shopping at Barney's. Now there's a morsel who has no need of a suger daddy. *sigh* And hey, all Diana Ross offspring sightings are newsworthy. (Especially Evan's)

On a Super-Hero note: Common confirms he's Green Lantern in 'Justice League' Long rumored to be in contention for the role, Common confirmed to MTV News for the first time publically that he was cast in the now dormant film, calling being picked for the role “an honor.” “It’s a blessing really, to know that I could potentially be this superhero,” he enthused. “Justice League itself is an honor, and Green Lantern is an incredible character to play. It’s a blessing to be associated with it.”

Leslie (Ryan Simkins) was walking to school when her neighbors Alex (Tom Arnold) and Frank (Kevin Zegers) pulled up alongside her and asked for help finding their missing dog. After scouring the neighborhood with the young girl to no avail, the men offer Leslie a ride to school so she won't be late for school. Along the way, the men tell Leslie that they work for her father. After school, Leslie is surprised to find the two men waiting to drive her home. Claiming that her parents have been called away on urgent business, Alex and Frank coerce Leslie into the car and give her a drink. Later, after dozing off in the backseat, Leslie awakens in a tiny bedroom with eight year-old Donnie. Like Leslie, Donnie (Evan Ross) had been drugged and kidnapped. Donnie is led to believe that his parents have sold him for drugs, while Leslie is told that her parents want nothing to do with her anymore. Now, as the two innocent children are forced into prostitution, they use their imaginations to escape into a wondrous world of light where anything is possible.... Also stars John Malkovich.

After great reviews for his portrayal of a gay teen in Queen Latifah's HBO drama, Life Support, Evan Ross is getting the 'Is He Gay?' from Media Take-Out (below, along with other favs of mine who've been rumored to be gay).

I won't even link to it because their reporting is so tabloid trash, but the pic is hot. I'm loving Evan at the moment ... almost as much as I've always loved his mom.

Rod 2.0 reports the seventies themed, Pride, is slated for March '07 release. He's gives the details of the Terrance Howard vehicle about a black swim team. But is that little Evan Ross (ATL fame) on the left in a speedo?

I can't believe I just found out that Evan Ross is in the movie ATL.

I'm a Diana Ross fan to the core of my soul, and have watched the Ross boyz growing up from a lascivious distance, and I'm thrilled to see little Evan take his place in the spotlight. And he's looking so edible these days.

But it wasn't just Diana who came out, the whole family was there.
