The Folly of attacking Iran: Lessons from history

With Iran flexing its muscles this week by shooting off missiles, and with our two presidential candidates with different opinions on whether to talk or not ... this short film should enlighten everyone on why we shouldn't stick our noses in over there ... again.

A life or death thing: The appeal for Mahdi

The photo below is NOT Mahdi Kazemi. But it could be. For obvious security reasons, we can't use his picture. If, God forbid, Mahdi is ultimately returned to Iran -- his fate is certain death. As we all know, 'there are no homosexuals in Iran'. Yeah. And we also know why.
    Mahdi's story

532353829_3190e25f15_o_2 Seyed Madhi Kazemi was born in Tehran and is not yet 20. On September 15th, 2005 he set off for the United Kingdom after applying for a student visa. At first he lived with his uncle in London and attended an English course. In November 2005 he moved to Brighton where he enrolled at the Embassy CES College of Hove. He renewed his student visa to November 2006, with the intention of returning to his family in Iran once the course was over.

Madhi loved a boy back in Iran called Parham, with whom he had shared a secret relationship since the age of 15. Madhi and Parham regularly wrote to each other via e-mail until December 2005, when Parham suddenly stopped writing. In late March 2006, Madhi’s uncle informed him that his father had found out about his homosexuality and his relationship with Parham: the boy had been arrested by the Iranian authorities after being caught with a peer and accused of “lavat” (sodomy).

During the interrogation he was forced to give the names of all the boys he had had relations with, including Madhi himself. Madhi’s father had then received a visit from the Tehran Police, with an arrest warrant for his son as they wanted to put him on trial. In late April, Madhi’s uncle told him Parham had been put to death...

    Update on the Appeal
From: Toby Grace, Editor, Out in Jersey magazine
Re: Update and appeal regarding Mahdi Kazemi

~ This mailing list gets longer with each sending. If this is the first time you are hearing from me about this, then in brief, we at Out in Jersey magazine were asked to help with the world-wide appeal on behalf of Mahdi, the gay Iranian student in danger of being deported from the UK to certain death in Iran. The guys in England who are spear-heading this, Omar Kuddus and Peter Tatchell, are personally known to me and have my greatest respect. Full details are on the website ~ http://www.madhikazemi.com/

News is good, but Mahdi may still be sent back. Get involved. Go to the site and show you care. Lets help save one gay boy from certain execution.

Iran Murders Gays For Public Entertainment

CryforlebanonThose bastards are still at it.

On a day when the South African Parliament legalized gay marriage in an historic and bold move, Iran proves itself to be the beast we all want to see slain. Proceed At Your Own Risk reports that another public hanging has taken place of a man purportedly involved in homosexual activity.

NooseA crowd of hundreds of onlookers cheered.

I've had it with that country and their disgusting human rights abuses. There is no reasoning with a mindset like that. Therefore I hope Israel blows them off the map. Diplomacy won't work. Reason is not something they're familiar with.

Do we really want an Iran with the bomb? No. Nuke 'em now, and pick up the pieces later. The terrorists aren't going anywhere and they don't play fair. Time to stop tip-toeing around middle-east policy and do what's necessary to keep that savage regime from getting the bomb.
