SAN DIEGO -- A car owned by a City Heights clergyman who went missing last week was found near the U.S.-Mexico line Thursday, leading authorities to speculate that he may have crossed the border and failed to return for unknown reasons.
|Charles Lanier, 51, a reverend at Unity Fellowship Church on University Avenue, has been unaccounted for since Friday, according to San Diego police. His family reported him missing several days later.
This morning, investigators got word that the North Park resident's black 2007 Cadillac CST had been impounded in a parking lot in the 700 block of East San Ysidro Boulevard, just north of the Baja California border. (full story here)
