I also think that he is a wonderful person. He is a step above the rest when it comes to a governor. I just wish that all states had a person that is tolerant as well.


It goes to show that when people have personal, direct contact with gays and lesbians, a lot of the ignorant misconceptions go away. Because his parents were enlightened enough to not fear gays and to actually know and trust some, their son grew up the same way.

Who knew it would take a legally blind man to see what so many others can't.

I've always held that position, because it speaks to the POWER of being OUT. People know more gays and lesbians than they realize, just, sadly, not out and proud ones.
